“It wasted no time and it had one desire, at the end of each week to be wound.”

That show where people display their elaborate props and costumes was on the other night. (again. déjà vu for the, third time? I think I talk about this every year.)

The judges seem to be getting harsher – in the past everyone has gotten a passing vote, but this time some adult performers – that I thought did quite well – didn’t. Add in a cute kid, though, and anything goes.

It has suddenly gotten incredibly hot here! I can’t believe it was snowing just a couple of weeks ago. I found myself going to the restroom at school even though I didn’t need to, just because it’s the coolest room in the building.
