As of today I've been in Japan exactly six months! おめでとうございます! I meant to write something interesting but I'm still recovering from ear trouble.

When mama was here we had some fun finding the bits and pieces to make up the outfit girls wear to summer festivals, at much less than the usual cost. It's really hard to put this on by yourself, but I thought you might like to see the attempt:
