I went to see this fireworks festival on Sumida River in Asakusa the other day. Unfortunately we were positioned behind a tree so we couldn’t get the best view – although we had an excellent view of the in-progress Sky Tree, to the point I was hoping someone would set off some explosions from the top of it.
